Advance reservations are required. Please reserve online or call 207-244-5388. A credit card number is required to confirm and guarantee reservation for all stays. For reservations made on or after February 12, 2024, the full balance of your stay will be collected at the time you make your reservation. For reservations made prior to February 12, 2024, no charges have been incurred. Upon arrival, your entire balance is due. Providing your credit card number serves as acceptance of these policies.
We accept cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.
Suite Cottages have a 4 night minimum stay. Studio Cottages have a 2 night minimum stay.
An email confirmation and directions will be sent after your reservation is completed. If you do not receive an email confirmation, please contact us immediately to verify your booking.
Check-in is available on the day of arrival between 3:30-6:30 PM. If you think you will be arriving after 6:30 PM, please contact us to arrange a late check-in. Cottage must be vacated by 10 AM on the day of departure.
Cancellations received 30 days or more before scheduled arrival date will result in a $35 cancellation fee. Cancellations received with less than 30 days notice will result in a cancellation fee equivalent to a 2 night stay. Cancellations received after 3 PM the day before arrival and "no shows" will result in a cancellation fee equivalent to the amount of the entire booking. Partial cancellation fees may be imposed if the confirmed nights are reduced. No refunds will be given for early departures.We understand our policy may be strict, however we are a small family business and cancellations greatly affect us. Please consider purchasing your own travel protection insurance.
The Suites (Cottages 3, 7, 8, and 15) can accommodate up to 4 guests (2 adults with 2 children are ideal). Rates are based upon double occupancy. There is a charge of $20 per additional guest over the age of 2 per night. Maximum occupancy for all other Studio Cottages is 2 guests.
For the comfort of our guests with allergies, we do not permit pets.
We do not allow smoking within any building on the property. Smoking is permitted outside the cottages, but we reserve the right to ask you not to smoke if it is bothering other guests.
We observe quiet hours from 9 PM to 9 AM to allow everyone to enjoy the tranquility of the property. Please be respectful of other guests by keeping noise to a minimum during this time.
Bikes may be stored on the outdoor decks, but not inside any cottage. We’ll be happy to lend you a tarp in the event of rain.
Acadia Cottages is privately owned. No liability is accepted by the owners for any personal injury to guests or for any loss or damage to their property. Management reserves the right to decline accommodation and to demand the immediate withdrawal of any persons not complying with the conditions, or for any conduct detrimental to the property or to the comfort of other guests.
